Notice of Revocation of Licence for an Old People's Home
Pursuant to regulation 13 (1) (g) of the Old People's Homes Regulations 1965, and pursuant to the power delegated to me under section 5A of the Health Act 1956 (as inserted by section 2 of the Health Amendment Act 1979), by the Deputy Director-General of Health, on the 13th day of October 1980, I, Margaret Winn Guthrie, in my capacity as Assistant Director, Division of Hospitals, after giving notice pursuant to regulation 13 (2) of the Old People's Homes Regulations 1965, on the 18th day of August 1980, of proposed revocation of your licence No. 1518, dated the 6th day of August 1979; and after hearing you Leslie Lucy Cadger, on the 17th day of October 1980, to show cause why the said licence should not be revoked; and being satisfied that the home is managed or conducted in such a manner that revocation of the said licence is required in the public interest, hereby revoke the said licence No. 1518.
This notice shall take effect from the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 21, M.I.A. 3/3) Specifying R. and W. Hellaby Ltd. as the Controlling Authority of the Waitomo Abattoir vice the Waitomo District Council and Restating the Boundaries of the Waitomo Abattoir District
Pursuant to section 14 of the Meat Act 1964 (as amended by section 12 of the Meat Amendment Act 1976), notice is hereby given as follows:

R. and W. Hellaby Ltd. shall be the controlling authority of the Waitomo abattoir. Notice No. 1527, Ag. 15/10/2/40*, specifying the Waitomo District Council as controlling authority is revoked.

The Waitomo Abattoir District comprises:
(a) All the area in the Waitomo District, as from time to time constituted, but excluding the Piopio community and also all that area within a distance of 5 kilometres from the boundary of the Piopio community; and
(b) That portion of the County of Otorohanga, situated within a radius of 8 kilometres of the meeting point of the Waitomo District boundary, the Otorohanga County boundary, and State Highway 3. -
This notice shall take effect from 13 October 1980.

The Standards Act 1965βDraft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5401/A3 Draft amendment No. 3 to NZS 5401:1976 Seat belt assemblies for motor vehicles.
This draft amendment incorporates a provision for stalk assemblies in motor vehicles as a result of the reported failure in stalk assemblies. Also included is a new appendix which sets out a strength and fatigue test for stalk assemblies.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15β23 Sturdee Street, Wellington 1.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 12 December 1980.
