Road Closed in Block XX, Invercargill Hundred, Southland County and Added to Land Held for Prison Purposes

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land held for prison purposes, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 8890 square metres, adjoining or passing through Sections 25 and 26, Block XX, Invercargill Hundred; as shown on plan S.O. 9718, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill, and thereon marked ‘A’.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 349 acres 2 roods and 22 perches, being Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 56, and part Sections 53 and 55, Block XX, Invercargill Hundred. Part Proclamation No. 1872 (New Zealand Gazette, No. 78, 1943, p. 1076) and notification of purpose New Zealand Gazette, 1945, p. 1553.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Grafton Gully - Beach Road Motorway in the City of Auckland

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by John Burns and Company Limited, from Her Majesty the Queen, under and by virtue of the lease in the register book, Volume 1593, folio 78, is hereby taken for the Grafton Gully - Beach Road motorway, from and after the 23rd day of October 1980.
