NOTICE is hereby given that the Waikato Valley Authority proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take an easement for soil conservation and river control purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for a stopbank together with such ancillary works as are necessary to preserve the integrity of the stopbank in connection with the Tongariro River protection works at Awamate Road, Turangi; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land over which an easement is required to be taken are deposited in the office of the Taupo County Council at Turangi, and are there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said easement should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said easement, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

In the matter of a Private Bill intituled “Otago Southland Flood Relief Committee Empowering Act”:
NOTICE is hereby given that the trustees of the Otago Southland Flood Relief Committee intend to apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives a Private Bill intituled “Otago Southland Flood Relief Committee Empowering Act.”
The objects of the said Bill are to discharge the present trustees from their administration of the fund, and to appoint trustees to administer the unexpended balance of the fund both for the relief of persons suffering loss or damage in floods occurring in Otago and Southland in October 1978 and for the relief of persons suffering loss or damage caused by recurring flooding since that date and to provide reimbursement for the loss of services by the Gore Borough Council of its town clerk.
The promoters of the Bill are the trustees of the Otago Southland Flood Relief Committee, whose address is care of Messrs Macalister Bros, solicitors, N.Z.I. House, Kelvin Street, Invercargill, to which address all communications and notices may be sent and at which address a copy of the Bill may be inspected.

THE AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION (CENTRAL) BILL
NOTICE is hereby given of intention to present to the House of Representatives a Private Bill entitled The Automobile Association (Central) Bill.
The objects of the Bill are to formally vest all real and personal property of The Automobile Association (Hawke’s Bay) Incorporated and The Automobile Association (Manawatu) Incorporated, pursuant to the resolutions passed by the three associations who have agreed to merge as one association; to provide that all moneys payable to The Automobile Association (Hawke’s Bay) Incorporated or The Automobile Association (Manawatu) Incorporated shall become payable to The Automobile Association (Central) Incorporated, and that all rights and liabilities of all natures shall be taken over by The Automobile Association (Central) Incorporated; to provide that section 24 (2) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 and regulation 8 (3) of the Incorporated Societies Regulations 1979 shall be deemed never to have applied to the voluntary winding up of The Automobile Association (Hawke’s Bay) Incorporated and The Automobile Association (Manawatu) Incorporated, and such voluntary winding up shall be deemed to have commenced on the 1st day of September 1980, and that those associations shall be dissolved on the 1st day of September 1980 in order to remedy non-compliance in certain respects with aspects of the rules applicable to the voluntary winding up of incorporated societies, which rules are inappropriate to the merger of the three associations; and to provide for further mergers upon similar terms by The Automobile Associations in New Zealand with The Automobile Association (Central) Incorporated in future should they so desire.
The promoter of the Bill is Roger Lewis Whyte of Wellington, company director. The address to which communications or notices to the promoter might be sent is the offices of Messrs Scott, Morrison, Dunphy and Co., Solicitors, Challenge House, 105–109 The Terrace, Wellington (P.O. NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD
PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on 24–26 September 1980 at Christchurch was 255.45 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).
At this price is above the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 235 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) no supplement is payable on wool until further notice.
There is likewise no grower retention levy payable in terms of section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, as the A.W.A.S.P. is less than the ruling trigger price of 330 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

NOTICE OF APPLICATION
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Ltd. has made an application to the Minister of Energy for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas by pipeline from the existing Inglewood Reticulation System in Kelly Street, Inglewood, to a metering and pressure regulating facility at the Bank of New Zealand in Matai Street, Inglewood.
