Otago Education Board—Extraordinary Election of Member

Pursuant to the Education Boards Administration Regulations 1979, it is hereby notified that the result of the poll held on 27 August 1980, for the extraordinary election of a member for the Waihemo Ward of the District of Otago for a period of 2 years was as follows:

Bona Vacantia Disclaimed

In the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Maheno Stores Ltd. (a dissolved company):

Notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. That on the 23rd day of June 1980, it came to the notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that the estate in fee simple of the above-named Maheno Stores Ltd., in all that parcel of land containing 860 square metres, more or less, being Section Eight (8), Block Ten (X), Town of Maheno, as shown on plan endorsed on Conveyance registered in the Deeds Register Office at Dunedin as No. 109885, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 211, folio 234 (Otago Registry), had vested in the Crown as bona vacantia pursuant to section 337 of the Companies Act 1955.

  2. That on the date aforesaid, application was received by the Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown's title to such estate in fee simple to be disclaimed.

  3. That no such application as aforesaid was received by the Secretary to the Treasury before the date aforesaid.

  4. That the Crown's title to the said estate in fee simple is hereby disclaimed.

The Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 5

Pursuant to the Milk Act 1967, the Milk Prices Authority hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 5.

(ii) This notice shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of May 1980.

(iii) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister of Agriculture.

(iv) This notice further amends the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977* (hereinafter referred to as "the principal notice"), as varied by the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 1†, the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 2‡, the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 3§, and the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 4¶.

  1. The principal notice is hereby further varied by revoking the Schedule thereto and replacing the same with the following Schedule:

SCHEDULE

Standard Rates of Margins and Allowances Payable for Services Performed in Respect of Town Milk

Nature of Service Margin or Allowance at the rate Cents per Litre
1. Treatment by treatment station if the aggregate quantity treated is:
(1) 11 500 litres or over per day 6.23
(2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres per day 6.29
(3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 7.50
2. Treatment by treatment station if such milk is not stored by refrigeration in the treatment station pending delivery but is stored elsewhere, and if the aggregate quantity treated is:
(1) 11,500 litres or over per day 6.12
(2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres per day 6.18
(3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 7.39
3. Homogenisation by treatment station, if the aggregate quantity homogenised is:
(1) 4 500 litres or over per day 0.76
(2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4 500 litres per day 1.02
(3) Less than 2 250 litres per day 1.30
4. Diverting to town milk industry by treatment station of skim milk if the aggregate quantity diverted is:
(1) 4 500 litres or over per day 0.43
(2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4 500 litres per day 0.51
(3) Less than 2 250 litres per day 0.59
5. Storing by refrigeration in vendor's depot 0.71
6. Storing by refrigeration in community depot 1.07
