hereto, to be classified as a scenic reserve, subject to the

SCENIC RESERVE

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Gisborne City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule
hereto, as a reserve for local purpose (esplanade), and further
pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in
the Gisborne City Council, in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
Specifying that the Land Shall Vest in the East Coast Bays
City Council in Fee Simple and How the Value Thereof
Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the
reserve for scenic purposes, described in the Schedule hereto,
and further, declares that the said land shall vest in the
East Coast Bays City Council in fee simple, provided that
a sum equal to the current market value of the said land is
paid by the Council into its reserves account, such moneys to
be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other
reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards
the purchase of other land for reserves.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for
Other Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of National
Parks and Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey
hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the reserve for
cemetery purposes, described in the First Schedule hereto,
for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
