The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand Standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 1900:9.3 Model building bylaw—Design and construction—Concrete: General requirements, materials and workmanship.

This draft model building bylaw is a revision of NZS 1900, Chapter 9, Division 9.3A, 1970.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 22 September 1980.

PURSUANT to section 17 of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 22 August 1980, endorsed as suitable for use in New Zealand, the under-mentioned amendment to the relevant endorsed specification.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 5104/A Draft amendments to NZS 5104:1980 (ISO 3736-1979), agricultural tractors and machines—symbols for operator controls. (Gratis.)

This draft amendment will place on record the declaration of ISO 3736-1979 together with a local amendment which adds symbols for "slow" and "fast" speeds for agricultural machines.

Please note, this is the amended portion only of the proposed NZS 5104. If you require ISO 3736-1979, copies are available from the Standards Association of New Zealand at $7.65.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies at the price shown from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street, Wellington 1.

Reassessment of Designation of High Priority Activities

For the purposes of section 2A (1) (e) of the Commerce Act 1975, and in relation to the economic policy of the Government as transmitted thereunder to the Commerce Commission on 29 December 1977, the Secretary of Trade and Industry and the Secretary to the Treasury hereby redesignate for a further period of 12 months the manufacture or supply of the following classes or descriptions of goods or services, by the persons named hereunder, to be High Priority Activities:
