  1. Special Fares—Auckland District

Combined Auckland Regional Authority—New Zealand Railways Passenger Tickets—Tickets issued specifically at the prices fixed by the New Zealand Government Railways pursuant to Government Railways Act 1949 and the Auckland Regional Authority for combined bus/rail travel shall be deemed to be Railway passenger tickets, and shall entitle the holders of such adult or children's tickets to travel without the payment of any additional fare between Auckland and Wiri, either via Newmarket or Orakei, and any intermediate stations between Auckland and Wiri, but such combined bus and railways tickets shall not be available for any other rail journey whatsoever, unless otherwise authorised from time to time under the provisions of subsection (5) of Section 33 of the Government Railways Act 1949.
