CORRIGENDUM

In the declaration, dated the 28th day of August 1979, and published in Gazette, 6 September 1979, No. 83, page 2629, declaring land taken for road, and in connection with road extension in the City of Palmerston North, pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, for the description of the area of 16 square metres, described in the Second Schedule as “part Lot 10, L.T. Plan 48844”, read “Lot 10, L.T. Plan 48844”, which last mentioned description appears in the original declaration signed by the Minister of Works and Development.

Authorising the Marlborough Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Land at Havelock

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Marlborough Harbour Board to reclaim from Havelock Harbour an area of 1.0720 hectares, more or less, of endowment foreshore and harbour bed as shown on plan marked M.D. 15970 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

COLONELS’ LIST

Colonel R. K. G. Porter, O.B.E., is transferred to the Supernumerary List on reaching retiring age for rank, with effect from 23 August 1979.

Colonel (temp. Brigadier) J. A. Mace, O.B.E., to be Brigadier and is transferred to the Brigadiers’ List, with seniority and effect from 6 August 1979.
