poses to withdraw pursuant to section 19 of such Act, the deposits which have been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the said company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully provided for be proposes to release to the company on, or after 8 October 1979, the amounts deposited with him by the said company.

Any objections to the release of the amounts deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on, or before 1 October 1979.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand Standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 4504 Fire hose reels (Revision of NZS 1168:1954 and NZS 2049:1966).

This draft standard revises both NZS 1168:1954 Hydraulic hose reels and NZS 2049:1966 Rubber reel hoses for fire fighting purposes. In addition, the scope of the standard has been broadened to make provision for hose of polyvinyl chloride.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.


The closing date for the receipt of comment is 23 November 1979.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand Standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 6206 Code of practice for the installation of domestic meter boxes.

This draft code is complementary to the Code for domestic electrical installations, published by the Electric Supply Authority Engineers’ Institute. It will establish a standard method of wiring and the use of meter enclosures of a standard physical size.

The draft also defines minimum supply arrangements for domestic installations to ensure that there is adequate margin for future load increases without committing the consumer to major (and costly) upgrading of his installation.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 30 November 1979.
