Declaration that Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Birkenhead City Council on the 27th day of June 1978.

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Birkenhead City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land vested in the said city and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—BIRKENHEAD CITY

6.9765 hectares, more or less, being Lots 156 to 163 (both inclusive), D.P. 20048, situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District. All certificate of title 484/178.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice, dated 28 March 1979, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 34, 26 April 1979, page 1205, and that notice is hereby cancelled.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve and Classification of the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the New Plymouth City Council on the 18th day of June 1979.

“That in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth City Council hereby declares all that parcel of land in Welbourn Park being Section 207, Fitzroy District (formerly part Kura Street, now closed), vested in the Council, and zoned as a reserve under the New Plymouth District Scheme, to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the Act.”

And further, declares the said reserve to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 declares the said reserve to form part of the Otoko Scenic Reserve.
