In the notice dated the 30th day of July 1979, published in the Gazette, No. 75, of 9 August 1979, p. 2375, proclaiming road closed in Blocks VII and VIII, Mount Hyde Survey District, Silverpeaks County, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, for “Section 2, Block VII” described secondly in the Schedule, read “Section 8, Block VII” which last mentioned appears in the original notice signed by the Minister of Works and Development.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Pest of Local Importance Order 1979, No 1.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the day after its notification in the Gazette.

2. The rook is hereby declared a Pest of Local Importance in the Manawatu Pests Destruction District.

Reappointment of Member of Pests Destruction Council (No. 2166, Ag. 21257)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, I hereby reappoint

Bruce Alexander Robertson (on the nomination of the North Island Pests Destruction Board’s Association),

to be a member of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Council for a further term of 3 years, from 1 April 1979.
