AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the freehold and leasehold estates which are described in the Schedule hereto for a certain public work, namely a transport station, as defined in section 177, Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
The general purpose for which the land is to be used is a bus depot and terminal.
A plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the City Valuer's Department of the Auckland City Council, and is there open for inspection.
Every person directly affected is called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal, care of Tribunals Division, Department of Justice, Private Bag, Wellington.
If any objection is made in accordance with section 22, Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
