EXPLANATORY NOTES

  1. Sizes have been listed in order from smallest to largest in their respective series.
  2. Bias and Radial Tyres are shown together under their respective rim diameters.
  3. The † shows where a letter indicating the “speed rating” of the tyre may appear in the size marking. Most common speed rating letters are—

    S
    H
    V
    F
    M
    N
    P
    Q
    R
    T
    U
  4. The letter “C” can also appear after the rim diameter e.g. 185R14C 600–16C
  5. Group markings also occur and any size listed could be combined with any other size in the same rim diameter. e.g. 590–600–13 575–600–640–15
  6. All sizes of passenger tubes for all passenger tyres listed are manufactured locally except vintage 30 × 3½ and 30 × 3.
