Classification of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY—
NGAWHA HOT SPRINGS RECREATION RESERVE

1.8413 hectares, more or less, being Section 3, Block XVI, Omapiere Survey District. All C.T. 24D/1409 and All New Zealand Gazette, 1934, p. 4342. S.O. Plan 20214.

Classification of Reserve

BRUCE PARK SCENIC RESERVE

14.0896 hectares, more or less, being Section 207, Paraekaretu District, situated in Block V, Ongo Survey District. All C.T. 293/173. S.O. Plan 26964.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Picton Borough Council on the 16th day of August 1977:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Picton Borough Council resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the Borough of Picton in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation within the meaning of the said Act”.

SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—MARLBOROUGH COUNTY

8.7382 hectares, more or less, Lot 1 D.P. 4285, situated in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District. All C.T. 2D/489. Together with water, sewage and electricity rights over part Lot 1; D.P. 3082, created by Transfer 45477.

Constitution of Turangi/Tokaanu Fire District Notice 1979

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice shall be cited as the Turangi/Tokaanu Fire District Notice 1979.
    (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of April 1979.

  2. The Tokaanu Fire District, declared to be a fire district by the Fire Service Act 1975, is hereby abolished and a fire district, to be known as the Turangi/Tokaanu Fire District, is hereby constituted.

  3. The boundaries of the Turangi/Tokaanu Fire District, constituted by this notice, are hereby defined in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-eastern shore of Lake Taupo in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Tauranga Taupo 1B Roadway (Kiko Road) in Block III, Tokaanu S.D., and proceeding south-easterly along that boundary, crossing No. 1 State Highway, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of part Tauranga Taupo 1B1B; thence, generally, south-westerly to and along that boundary, the north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S22810, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 3, Block III, Tokaanu S.D., and the eastern side of No. 1 State Highway to the north-eastern side of Korohe Road; thence, generally, south-easterly along that side, the eastern side of Waiotaka Road and the north-eastern side of Kepa Road to the eastern boundary of Block XI, Puketi S.D.; thence southerly along that boundary to the south-eastern corner of that block; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Block XI to the eastern side of Tongariro Road; thence southerly along that side to a point in line with the northern boundary of Hautu 4B2B2B1; thence westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the western side of No. 1 State Highway; thence, generally, north-westerly along that side to and along the southern and western boundaries of part Ohuanga North 3A as defined on S.O. Plan 20506 to its westernmost corner, along a right line to a point on the north-western boundary of Waipapa 1F approximately 221 metres from its northernmost corner, along the north-western boundary of Waipapa 1F to its northernmost corner, to and along the south-western boundary of Waipapa 1K and its production to the middle of the Tokaanu River, down the middle of Tokaanu River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Tokaanu B2M3, to and
