Crown Land Set Apart for Road, and Road Closed in Buller County

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be set apart for road, from and after the 8th day of February 1979, and further, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto and declares that the closed road shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Ohika Survey District, described as follows:

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee, on 19 January 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Commercial Hotel, Waipawa.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee, on 19 January 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Tamatea Motor Hotel.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 00.30 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Manawatu Licensing Committee, on 19 January 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Whyte’s Hotel, Foxton.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 9 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve)—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee, on 24 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Plains Hotel, Edgecumbe.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being New Year’s Eve) When New Zealand Daylight Time is in force—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the year (not being New Year’s Eve) When New Zealand Standard Time is in force—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every Thursday (not being New Year’s Eve) When New Zealand Standard Time is in force—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
