NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 21st day of June 1979, presented to the said Court by JOHN CAITHNESS TURNBULL; and the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Invercargill, on the 9th day of August 1979, at 9.30 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Invercargill, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 8th day of August 1979.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL LIBRARY LOAN, 1978—$600,000

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Feilding taken on the 25th day of July 1979 on the proposal of the Feilding Borough Council to raise a loan of $600,000 to be known as the Library Loan 1978 for the purpose of acquiring land and erecting thereon a library and ancillary amenities including appropriate equipment, furnishing, etc., suitable for a library resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 776.

The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1609.

The number of informal votes was 5.

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Wairoa Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work namely the provision of land for a sewage treatment plant and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land hereby required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the Wairoa Borough Council, situated in Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any objections thereto not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. A public hearing of each objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

THE SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 5.4800 hectares, more or less, situated in the County of Wairoa, being part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 3350, situated in Block V, Clyde Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 119, folio 230 (Hawke’s Bay Registry), more particularly shown on survey office plan No. 7253 and thereon marked “A”. The said land is situated at Whakamahi Road, Wairoa.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a public work, namely the construction of a road and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the use, enjoyment, and convenience of a road.

Notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan showing the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Franklin County Council, Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and there open for inspection; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount of payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice the public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
