of the Supreme Court at Wellington, and must be signed by
the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and
must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in suffi-
cient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for
service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Horowhenua County Council
proposes, under provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a
public refuse tip, and for the purpose of such public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken;
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the office of the
Horowhenua County Council, Bath Street, Levin, and is there
open for inspection.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any objection to the execution of the said public work or to
the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth the such objections in
writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publica-
tion of this notice to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal,
Department of Justice, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
HOROWHENUA LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1.7580 hectares, more or
less, situated in Block VII, Waitohu Survey District, and
being Part Manawatu Kukutauaki Part Lot 2 on Deposited
Plan 33671, and Part Manawatu Kukutauaki 4D1 Number 1A,
and being Parts of certificates of title, 10A/906 and 14D/564
(Wellington Registry), being more particularly shown on a
plan as displayed in the Horowhenua County Council Office
dated January 1979. The land described is known as the
Manakau Refuse Tip and the access thereto from State
Highway 1 south of the Waikawa River Bridge.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD
The Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the auction
sale of wool held on 12 January 1979, at Auckland, was
203.49 cents per kilogram.
The Government Supplementary percentage payable for this
auction sale and nationally for privately bought wool will
therefore be 0.70 percent from midnight of 11 January 1979
until midnight on 14 January 1979.

The Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the auction
sale of wool held on 10 January 1979 at Invercargill, was
205.82 cents per kilogram.
As this price is above the Government Supplementary
Minimum Wool Price of 205 cents per kilogram (greasy
average basis) no supplement is payable.
There is likewise no retention applicable as the A.W.A.S.P.
is less than the Trigger Price of 250 cents per kilogram set
by the Minister of Agriculture for the 1978–79 wool season.
