Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block II, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki County, and Vesting the Control and Management Thereof in the Taranaki County Council

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for drainage purposes and sewerage treatment works, to recreation purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land;

(b) Specifies that Part III of the Reserves Act 1977 shall apply to the said land; and

(c) Vests the control and management of the said land in the Taranaki County Council.
