The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.

Number and Description of Draft
DZ 8403/A2 Draft amendment No. 2 to NZS 8403:1973 Grades of meat and definitions of cuts of meat for sale on the New Zealand market.

This amendment changes the general requirements and permitted weights for prime grade pigmet to make additional provision for the marketing of entire male pigs.

All persons who may be affected by these amendments and who desire on comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 17 August 1979.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification
DR 3114 (Second edition) Draft standard for concrete surface finishes. Price: $2.

Latest date for comment: 24 August 1979.

The intention of this draft standard is to provide a means of communication between designers, specification writers and constructors by removing some of the ambiguities in the wide range of textures, variations of shade and inherent surface defects.

The standard is divided into three sections covering off-the-form surfaces, exposed aggregate surfaces, and floors, exterior pavements, and inverts.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the price shown, from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
