Road Closed and Vested and Land Taken and Vested in Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District, Whangarei County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Public Trustee and Rex Colston Thomas, of Otonga, farmer, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject in respect of the share of the Public Trustee to mortgage No. 250864 and in respect of the share of Rex Colston Thomas to mortgages 250864, A581478, and A586612, and hereby takes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, which land shall vest in the Whangarei County Council.

ALL that piece of road situated in Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District, containing 531 square metres adjoining or passing through part Section 11; marked “C” on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Land Taken

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District, containing 532 square metres, and being part Section 11; marked “D” on plan.

As shown on plan S.O. 48881, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon marked as abovementioned.

Declaring Land Taken for Road and for the Use, Convenience or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XVI, Whangarei Survey District, and Block IV, Ruakaka Survey District, Whangarei County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, and shall vest in the Whangarei County Council, from and after the 5th day of July 1979.
