Declaring Portions of Road in Block VII, Mohaka Survey District, Wairoa County, to be under the Control and Management of the Wairoa County Council

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date hereof, be under the control and management of the Wairoa County Council.

SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road situated in Block VII, Mohaka Survey District, Wairoa County, known as Kakariki Farm Road, shown marked A to C on plan S.O. 7332, C to F on plan S.O. 7333, and F to I on plan S.O. 7334; as shown on the plans marked as above-mentioned, and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block VIII, Pohue Survey District, and Block V, Maungaharuru Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County, to be under the Control and Management of the Hawke’s Bay County Council

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date hereof, be under the control and management of the Hawke’s Bay County Council.

ALL those portions of road situated in Block VIII, Pohue Survey District, and Block V, Maungaharuru Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County, known as Brooks Road, shown marked A to B on plan S.O. 7178 and B to C on plan S.O. 7179, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested and Land Taken in Block IX, Wendon Survey District, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby takes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29 and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Third Schedule hereto. The land firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto when so taken and the road firstly and fourthly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall vest in G. and J. M. Vickery Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Invercargill, subject to mortgages No. 283941, 283942, 008631.1, 014850.1. The road fifthly and sixthly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall vest in Frederick Hamer Edge and Philip Clifford Edge, as tenants in common in equal shares, and the land described secondly in the Second Schedule hereto, when so taken, and the road described thirdly and seventhly in the Third Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 230 recorded in register book, Volume 51, folio 97, Southland Registry, held from Her Majesty The Queen, by James Alexander Lamb, of Wendon Valley, farmer, and Estella Louie Olive Lamb, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to mortgage No. 280559.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and Land Taken in Block V, Mokoreta Survey District, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Southland County Council, and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the land firstly described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Lloyd Bell Johnstone, of Dunedin, electrical engineer, the road firstly, secondly, and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land secondly described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Allan Lloyd Bell, of Mokoreta, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 009321.1, 035409.1, and 214803.
