NOTICE OF APPLICATION
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Ltd., has made an application to the Minister of Energy for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas by pipeline from an offtake station at the existing sales tap on the Kapuni–Auckland pipeline on Pembroke Road, Stratford, to a number of metering and pressure reducing facilities in the Stratford County.

RANGITIKEI-WANGANUI CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei-Wanganui Catchment Board, proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take land for the purpose of soil conservation and river control. The land required to be taken is that described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required are deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of the said Board situate in Hammond Street, Marton, and are open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the land (not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation if any) must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeals Board, P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North, so as to reach him no later than 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
The area of the land is 1880 square metres, being part Section 7, Rangitikei District, situate in Block I, Te Kawau Survey District, the said land is contained in Deeds Index 8/207, and is identified by the letter A on S.O. Plan No. 32173, and is situate in the Rangitikei County and is part of the Land Registration District of Wellington.

NOTICE OF ORDER FOR CONFISCATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE
(Section 44B and 44D of the Criminal Justice Act 1954)
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 44D of the Criminal Justice Act 1954, that at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill, on Tuesday, the 5th day of June 1979, upon conviction being entered against one Edward Allan Todd, of 129 Bann Street, Bluff, in respect of two charges of driving whilst disqualified, an order was made pursuant to section 44B (2) (a) of the Criminal Justice Act, for the confiscation of the offender’s motor vehicle, and directing

The Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the auction sale of wool held on 14 June 1979, at Napier, was 231.59 cents per kilogram.
As this price is above the Government Supplementary Minimum Wool Price of 203 cents per kilogram (greasy average basis) no supplement is payable.
There is likewise no retention applicable as the A.W.A.S.P. is less than the Trigger Price of 250 cents per kilogram set by the Minister of Agriculture for the 1978–79 wool season.
