Maori Land Development Notice
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1979, No. 11.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land for Inclusion in a Maori Reservation and Redefining Purposes of a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be included in the Maori reservation in respect of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto and the purposes for which the Maori reservation was, in respect of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, created by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 5, 21 January 1971, are hereby redefined to be for the purpose of a marae known as Ngapuwaiwaha and for the purpose of an urupa.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, and described as follows:
Area m² 6551 Taumarunui Papakainga Z, as created by Partition Order of the Maori Land Court dated 18 September 1969.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hurunui Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hurunui Licensing Committee, on 6 June 1979, made on order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Railway Hotel, Amberley.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Commerce Act 1975
By letter dated 14 September 1978 the Minister of Trade and Industry required the Commerce Commission, pursuant to section 82 (7) of the Act, to inquire into and report to him on the advisability of removing indigenous timber from the Positive List of Controlled Goods and Services.
This inquiry has been concluded and the Commission reported its findings and recommendations to the Minister on 11 June 1979.
