Reservation of Land

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for Government purpose (wildlife management).

482.4000 hectares, more or less, being Section 54, situated in Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District, Part New Zealand Gazette, 1865, p. 265, and all New Zealand Gazette, 1979, p. 207. S.O. Plan 49087.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Whawhakia Hapu, and for the Maori people generally of Te Kauri.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Kiwitea County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Kiwitea County Council and revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (road and gravel), over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that the proprietor of Wesley College has entered into a supplementary integration agreement in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The supplementary agreement took effect on 7 May 1979.

Copies of this supplementary agreement, and the original agreement, are available for inspection at the Department of Education, Head Office Library, Government Buildings, Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Southland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee, on 8 December 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered Club known as the Riverton R.S.A. Club Inc.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
