Cancelling the Appointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962

NOTICE is hereby given that the Maori wardens named in the Schedule hereto have resigned or are deceased and their appointments are therefore cancelled pursuant to subsection (4) of section 7 of the Maori Welfare Act 1962 as substituted by section 14 of the Maori Purposes Act 1975.

Declaring Land Taken for a Teacher's Residence in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, Bay of Islands County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a teacher's residence, from and after the 14th day of June 1979.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 588 square metres, situated in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, and being part Lot 1, D.P. 78293; as shown on plan S.O. 53683, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon marked “A”.

Declaring Land Taken for Maori Housing Purposes in the Borough of Hawera

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes, from and after the 14th day of June 1979.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 672 square metres, situated in the Borough of Hawera, being Lot 2, D.P. 11881, and being part Section 181, Patea District. All certificate of title, No. D4/18.

Declaring Land Taken for Maori Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building line restriction contained in notice No. 212697.4, and subject also, as to the land first described, to the sewer drainage rights in gross granted by transfer No. 212697.3, for Maori housing purposes, from and after the 14th day of June 1979.
