NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
24th day of May 1979, presented to the said Court by
GILBERT LODGE & COMPANY LIMITED, a duly incorporated
company incorporated under the laws of New South Wales,
but carrying on business throughout New Zealand;
and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Wellington on the 4th day of July 1979, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory
of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making
of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of
hearing in person or by his counsel for the purpose; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to
any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a
copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
and its amendments to take for public road the land described
in the schedule hereto, such land to be used for road pursuant
to the provisions of section 319 of the Local Government
Amendment Act 1978.
All persons directly affected by the taking of the said land,
should if they have any objection to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days from the 24th day of May 1979, being the date
of the first publication of this notice, to the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, Private Bag, Postal Centre,
Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch,
containing ninety-one square metres (91 m²) or thereabouts,
being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 16207, part of Rural
Section 347, and being the part of the land described in
certificate of title, Volume 556, folio 48 (Canterbury Registry).
The above area is required for road widening purposes in
association with the New Brighton Expressway and is part of
the right of way servicing 120 Aldwins Road. A copy of the
plan depicting the area may be inspected at the Housing and
Property Division of the Department of City Administration,
194 Manchester Street, Christchurch, during business hours.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the
Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies
open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank
Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set
forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the
execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not
being an objection to the amount or payment of compensa-
tion, and to send such written objection to the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington, within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of
the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

It is hereby certified that the following is a true copy of the
notice of motion passed by the Gisborne District Law
Society at its annual general meeting held in the Law Library,
Gisborne, on Tuesday, the 20th day of March 1979.
That the Gisborne District Law Society ratify the boundary
agreement made with the Law Society of the District of
Hawke's Bay on 13 June 1978.
Mr T. D. Caley moved the motion, and Mr D. R. Kohn
seconded it.
There was no discussion on the motion and it was carried.

It is hereby certified that the following is a true copy of the
notice of motion passed by the Law Society of the District
of Hawke's Bay at its half-yearly general meeting held in the
Supreme Court, Napier, on Friday, 6 October 1978.
That this Society ratify the agreement that the Gisborne
District Law Society include in the boundaries of the
Gisborne Law Society the borough of Wairoa and that
portion of the County of Wairoa north and east of the
roadline from the Borough of Wairoa to Lake Waikare-
moana.
Mr Cowley moved the motion, seconded by Mr J. von
Dadelszen.
There was no discussion on the motion and it was carried.

AGREEMENT made this 13th day of June 1978, between The
Gisborne District Law Society of the one part and The Law
Society of the District of Hawke's Bay of the other part;
Whereas the law practitioners in the Borough of Wairoa have
requested the parties hereto to agree to alter the boundaries
of the districts of each society to provide for the inclusion of
Wairoa Practitioners within the boundaries of the Gisborne
District Law Society; and whereas the parties have by an
exchange of correspondence agreed to the alteration; and
