National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 1, Moffats Road to Pine Valley Road, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan L.A. 10/23/1 and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland, and there available for public inspection; it is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 May 1979, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 8 December 1978*, made pursuant to the said section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for one half its width on the eastern side and extending across the whole frontage of Lot 1, and Lot 2, D.P. 44392 (C.T. 1967/45 and C.T. 1377/68 respectively).

REFERRING to State Highway No. 50, Pakowhai Road to Ngaruroro River, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 4 of plan M.O.W. 36245 and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Napier, and there available for public inspection; it is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 May 1979, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 18 September 1974*, made pursuant to the said section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for one half its width on the southern side commencing at the point of junction of the eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 12166 (C.T. D1/884), with the road reserve and extending westwards along the frontages for 40 metres.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby given notice that the Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee, on 4 May 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Railway Hotel, Otane.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening between the 1st day of May and the 1st day of September (inclusive) in each year.

(b) On any Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
