Tariff Notice No. 1979/73—Application for Determination
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for determination of rates of duty by the Minister of Customs as follows:

The identification reference to the application number indicates the office to which any objections should be made.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 7 June 1979. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Withdrawals of Applications for a Grant of Plant Selectors’ Rights (Notice No. 2147, Ag. PV 3/5)
PURSUANT to section 13 (2) of the Plant Varieties Act 1973, notice is hereby given that the applications for grants of plant selectors’ rights, specified in the Schedule hereto, have been withdrawn by the applicants. The protective direction for “Minred” previously in force has accordingly lapsed.

Relinquishment of Grant of Plant Selectors’ Rights (Notice No. 2146, Ag. PV 3/2/24)
PURSUANT to section 20 (5) of the Plant Varieties Act 1973, notice is hereby given that the holder of a grant of plant selectors’ rights, specified in the Schedule hereto, has offered to surrender his grant. If any interested person considers that he is likely to be unfairly affected by this offer to surrender the grant, he may lodge an objection with the Registrar within 1 month from the date of this Gazette. Objections must comply with regulation 19 of the Plant Varieties Regulations 1975.
