Special Duties Division

The following Flight Lieutenants to be temp. Squadron Leader, with effect from the dates shown:

R. P. Warren, 29 January 1979.

J. K. Diprose, M.A.(HONS), 13 February 1979.

Flight Lieutenant Michael Anthony Lott (RAF (retired)) is appointed to a commission in the rank of Flight Lieutenant (on prob.), with seniority from 30 January 1975 and effect from 30 January 1979.

Extensions of Commissions

The commissions of the following are extended to the dates shown:

Supply Division

Flight Lieutenant M. P. Murdoch, 6 January 1984.

Special Duties Division

Flight Lieutenant R. B. Smith, 23 June 1990.

EDUCATION BRANCH

Appointment

Flying Officer S. L. Rewiti is appointed to a permanent commission, with effect from 2 March 1979.

Transfer to Reserve

Squadron Leader Russell Hugh Woolcock, M.A.(HONS), DIP.TCIG., is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 28 February 1983, with effect from 1 March 1979.

CHAPLAIN’S BRANCH

Appointment

The Rev. Winston James Baker, M.A.,DIP.TH., (Pres.) is appointed to a commission on a fixed term engagement of 4 years, in the rank of Chaplain 4th Class, with seniority from 19 February 1973 and effect from 19 February 1979.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Extensions of Commissions

The commissions of the following are extended to the dates shown:

Squadron Leader T. E. Enright, 4 April 1984.

Flight Lieutenant G. A. Francis, 5 January 1983.

Transfer

Flying Officer (W) C. B. Cade is transferred to the Regular Air Force, with effect from 28 February 1979.

Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1947, and section 7 (2) of the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968, and section 21 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Anthony Joseph Sheehan

of Gisborne, barrister and solicitor, to be a Stipendiary Magistrate to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, the jurisdiction of the Children and Young Persons Courts and the domestic jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Courts.
