  1. The Traffic (Whangarei City and Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1978, dated the 25th day of January 1978, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated within Whangarei City and within Whangarei County adjacent to Whangarei City, is hereby revoked.

  2. The Traffic (Whangarei City) Notice No. 1, 1978, dated the 20th day of March 1978, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated within Whangarei City, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei City:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the southern boundary of Whangarei City to a point 50 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said highway from Murdoch Crescent.

No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei-Dargaville): from Silverstream Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City.

Kiripaka-Ngunguru Road: from Murdoch Crescent to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Memorial Drive: from Kohe Street to the north-eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Old Parua Bay Road: from the eastern end of Kohe Street to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Onerahi Road (Western Bypass): from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Selwyn Avenue to Russell Road.

Paranui Valley Road: from a point 460 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Paranui Crescent to the eastern end of Paranui Valley Road.

Pukenui Road: from the No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei-Dargaville) to the western end of Pukenui Road.

Riverside Drive: from a point 500 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Pohe Island Road to the Waimahanga Creek Bridge.

Three Mile Bush Road: from a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Dip Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City.

Vinegar Hill Road: from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Corks Road to the north-eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Whangarei Heads Road: from Beach Road to the eastern boundary of Whangarei City.

Whereora Road: from the Hatea River Bridge to the north-eastern boundary of Whangarei City.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei City:

No. 14 State Highway (Whangarei-Dargaville): from Silverstream Road to the western boundary of Whangarei City, near Kowhai Park Road.

Ormond Road (Western Bypass): from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Selwyn Avenue to Russell Road.

Whereora Road: from the Hatea River Bridge to a point 500 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from the said bridge.

SITUATED within Whangarei City and Whangarei County adjacent to Whangarei City:

Kiripaka-Ngunguru Road: from Meadow Park Crescent to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Kiripaka-Ngunguru Road from Sands Road.


THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei City and Whangarei County adjacent to Whangarei City:

Three Mile Bush Road: from a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Dip Road to Lake Ora Road.

Price Order No. 113 (Florida Oranges)

PURSUANT to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Desmond James Gasson, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Trade and Industry, hereby make the following price order:

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 113 and shall come into force on the 22nd day of January 1979.

  2. (1) Price Order No. 2262 is hereby revoked.

(2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.

  1. References in this order to metropolitan areas are references to the metropolitan areas described in the Schedule hereto.

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

  1. This order applies with respect to all Florida oranges sold by way of retail in New Zealand.

MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES

  1. (1) Subject to the provisions of this clause, the maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any Florida oranges shall be:

(a) When sold by a retailer carrying on business in any of the metropolitan areas of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin, or in any of the cities or boroughs of Whangarei, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Stratford, Hawera, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier, Hastings, Masterton, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, Timaru, Westport, Oamaru, Balclutha, Gore, or Invercargill—

99 cents a kilogram.

(b) When sold by a retailer carrying on business elsewhere—

$1.01 a kilogram.

(2) If in respect of any lot of oranges sold by a retailer the maximum price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot may be computed to the nearest whole cent.

SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED

  1. Subject to such conditions, if any, as he thinks fit, the Secretary, on application by any retailer, may authorise special prices in respect of any Florida oranges to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Secretary under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of oranges or may relate generally to all Florida oranges to which this order applied sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.

DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS

  1. Every retailer who offers or exposes any Florida oranges for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the oranges to which it relates as to be obviously descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:

(a) The retail price a kilogram.

(b) The word “Florida”.
