  2. Small Lots—Cattle, calves, sheep, pigs, horses (including ponies and foals), or go at carried loose in small lots will be charged at the wagon-load rate, or if cheaper (provided the consignee does not require the exclusive use of a wagon) at the following rates:

  1. Livestock in Crates—Calves—(Not exceeding six months old), sheep, pigs, or goats properly secured in crates so as to prevent damage to other goods will be charged as follows:

This section is hereby revoked and the following new section substituted therefore:

  2. Minimum loads of goods chargeable at Class N rate will be as follows:

*A 6 tonne wagon minimum will apply to concrete pipes loaded on Nc or Nf wagons.
†Mc wagons are not to be loaded with bulk commodities.

  1. Minimum Charge—Except where otherwise provided, any less quantity than the minimum prescribed will be charged at such minimum, or on actual weight at the following rates, whichever is cheaper:

Loose coke—The charge on any four-wheeled wagon will not be less than as for 4 tonnes at Class N rate.

  1. Handling—The Department may require all loading, unloading, or tallying, to be performed by the owners; where any such service is performed by the Department, charges as provided in section 122 will be made.
