Bulk Travel Vouchers
Paragraph 3. Omit this paragraph and substitute:
- Bulk travel vouchers will be available for the purchase of rail tickets issued under the following sections only—2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
Bulk travel vouchers will not be available on railway or road services suburban routes, sightseeing trips, special tours, or for motor vehicle transport or day excursion trips on the Cook Strait rail ferries.
- Miscellaneous Concessions
Paragraphs 1 (a) and 1 (b). Omit these paragraphs and substitute:
- General—(a) Subject to the conditions set out hereafter, tickets may be issued for travel by all rail passenger services except the Silver Fern service at fares specified in sections 2, 3, 5 (paragraphs 1 (a) and (b)), 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14 less 10 percent.
(b) Availability—Such tickets will have the same availability (both as to period of time and break of journey) as tickets issued at the fares prescribed in sections 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14.

This section is hereby revoked and the following substituted:

Family Tickets

Fares—(a) Second-class family tickets for return travel at five times the adult single fare (section 2, 13 or 14), may be issued to parents and their children travelling together on services on which section 2, section 13, or section 14 tickets are available—minimum 50 kilometres.
(b) Family tickets for return travel at five times the special fare for Northerner (section 5, paragraph 1(a)), Endeavour (section 7), or Southerner (section 11) may be issued to parents and their children travelling together on these services.

Conditions—The children must be under 16 years of age at the time of travel, and be accompanied by at least one of their parents. The number of children in any family who may travel on one ticket is unlimited. The names of the parents or parent and children must be declared at the time of booking, and only the persons whose names are so declared may travel on the ticket.

Availability—These tickets will have unlimited availability.

Ten-trip Concession Tickets
Paragraph 1. Omit this paragraph and substitute:
- Ten-trip tickets will be issued for distances not exceeding 43 kilometres for any journey which is not wholly within the points specified in section 39, paragraph 5, or section 40, and will be charged as follows:
