The Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1979
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1979.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- So much of the Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 7th day of May 1975*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Bay of Islands County at Russell, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Situated within Bay of Islands County at Russell:
All that area with the exception of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto bounded by a line commencing at the point on the southern side of Hope Avenue (Whakapara - Russell Road) 250 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from a point opposite the intersection point of its northern side with the south-eastern side of Florance Avenue; thence due south by a right line to the shoreline of the Bay of Islands; thence westerly, northerly, easterly, and southerly, generally, along the said shoreline to a point on the said shoreline due north of the eastern end of Long Beach Road; thence due south by a right line to the said end of the said road; thence south-westerly, generally, by a right line to the point where the eastern side of Florance Avenue intersects the north-eastern side of Hope Avenue (Whakapara - Russell Road); thence westerly, generally, along the northern side of Hope Avenue (Whakapara - Russell Road) to a point on the said roadside due north of the commencing point; thence due south by a right line across Hope Avenue (Whakapara - Russell Road) from its northern side to its southern side to the commencing point.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Situated within Bay of Islands County at Russell:
Tapeka Point Road: from a point 180 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Du Fresne Place to a point 220 metres measured northerly, generally, along Tapeka Point Road from Wellington Street.

Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs
Pursuant to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1979
Pursuant to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1979.
(b) This notice shall come into force on 1 July 1979. - Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
- The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.
