(2) The members appointed pursuant to paragraph (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) of subclause (1) of this clause, shall serve as members of the management committee for a term of 2 years and shall be eligible to be reappointed from time to time.

(3) The members (if any) co-opted by the Board itself pursuant to paragraph (f) of subclause (1) of this clause, shall serve as members of the management committee for such terms as the Board thinks fit.

(4) If a member appointed pursuant to paragraph (a), (b), (c), (d), or (e) of subclause (1) of this clause, becomes for any reason unable to remain a member of the management committee, the Board shall fill the vacancy thereby created by appointing a person who is in its opinion, suitable for that vacancy; and the person so appointed shall serve as a member of the management committee for the residue of the term for which the vacating member was appointed.

SCHEDULE

The technical subjects referred to in clause 2 of this notice shall be the following:

Subjects towards a New Zealand Certificate awarded by the Technicians Certification Authority of New Zealand.

Subjects towards a Technical Certificate in Garage Management awarded by the Technicians Certification Authority of New Zealand.

Subjects towards a Hospital Officers Certificate.

Subjects towards a Trade Certificate or Advanced Trade Certificate awarded by the New Zealand Trades Certification Board.

Subjects towards certificates in industrial practice in the following:

Boilerhouse practice,
Civil engineering works supervision,
Concrete construction,
Concrete supervision,
Farm management,
Food hygiene, and
Food service.

Subjects in senior business or secretarial courses.

Subjects in the New Zealand Society of Accountants examination.

Subjects towards the New Zealand Institute of Management, the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, and the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand courses.

Ceramics.

Vesting a Reserve in the Thames-Coromandel District Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in the Thames-Coromandel District Council in trust for recreation purposes.

Notice Restricting the Issue of Fishing Licences, Permissions, or Fishing Permits in the Foveaux Strait Oyster Fishery (Notice No. 2133, Ag. 42/7D/4)

PURSUANT to section 119 of the Fisheries Act 1908, as inserted by section 2 of the Fisheries Amendment Act 1977, the Minister of Fisheries hereby declares that as from the date of publication of this notice no further licences, permissions, or fishing permits shall be granted or given under Part I of this Act, for the method of oyster dredging to be used in respect of the oyster fisheries in the Foveaux Strait Oyster Fishery.

Foveaux Strait Oyster Fishery is defined as New Zealand fisheries waters, including any special area, bounded:

(a) To the west by a straight line drawn from Oraka Point in Block 2, Longwood Survey District, to the easternmost point of Centre Island; thence by high-water mark to the Centre Island lighthouse; thence by straight line to the northernmost point of Codfish Island; thence by a straight line to North Red Head on the northwest coast of Stewart Island; and

(b) To the east by a straight line drawn from Slope Point in Block 9, Waikawa Survey District, to East Cape on Stewart Island.

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County adjacent to Motueka Borough:

No. 60 State Highway (Richmond to Collingwood): from High Street South to a point 100 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from High Street South.

Everett Street: from North Street to a point 20 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said street from Trewavas Street.

High Street South: from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond to Collingwood) to a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Everett Street.

Trewavas Road: from a point 200 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Everett Street to Everett Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County adjacent to Motueka Borough:

High Street South: from a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said street from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond to Collingwood) to Wildmans Road.

Wildmans Road: from High Street South to a point 500 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Moutere Highway.
