1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ashburton County) Notice No. 2, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

3. The Traffic (Ashburton County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 19th day of April 1974†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Ashburton County at Hinds, is hereby revoked.

2. The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality from the 1st day of December in each year and every year to the Tuesday immediately following Easter in each and every year inclusive of both days.

3. The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area from the Wednesday immediately following Easter each year and every year to the 30th day of November in each and every year inclusive of both days.

4. The Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 4, 1975, dated the 9th day of December 1975†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads in the Taupo County, is hereby revoked.
