Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid out in Block IV, Moutere Survey District, Horowhenua County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 29th day of June 1910, to be road, and to be vested in the Horowhenua County Council.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2163 square metres, situated in Block IV, Moutere Survey District, and being Lot 38, L.T. plan 50181.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of November 1979.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District, to be a Wildlife Refuge (Block IV, Lower Wanaka Survey District, Otago Land 2206; Ag. 6/13/2/6A)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on 14 November 1963, Gazette, No. 74, p. 1835, declaring an area of land in the Lower Wanaka Survey District and in the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—VINCENT COUNTY
4.8679 hectares, more or less, being Lot 110, D.P. 9486, Block IV, Lower Wanaka Survey District.
As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 46/29/395, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of October 1979.

PURSUANT to section 59 of the Defence Act 1971, the Minister of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, promotions, extensions, relinquishments, cancellations, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

Appointments
Temporary Lieutenant J. J. Hartigan is appointed Unit Commander TS Taupo, with effect from 9 December 1979.
Michael John Ashby is appointed to a cadet commission in the rank of Sub Lieutenant on probation, with effect from 17 September 1979.
Promotions
The following officers are promoted to the rank and with seniority from the dates shown:
Sub Lieutenant J. J. Hartigan, temporary Lieutenant, 1 November 1979.
Ensign G. H. Peat, Sub Lieutenant, 23 June 1979.
