Gore Fire District Notice 1979

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement:
   (1) This notice may be cited as the Gore Fire District Notice 1979.
   (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of December 1979.

2. The Gore Fire District, declared to be a fire district by the Fire Service Act 1975, is hereby abolished, and a fire district to be known as the Gore Fire District is hereby constituted.

3. The boundaries of the Gore Fire District constituted by this notice are defined in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Southland County, Gore Borough, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Mataura River at a point in line with the northern boundary of Block XII, Chatton Survey District and proceeding generally easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Block XII, aforesaid to the northern boundary of the Waikaka Survey District to a point in line with the north-western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 9446, Block II, Waikaka Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 9446, and Sections 22, 21, 20, 19, part 18, Lot 1, D.P. 3939, part 17 and part 16 to and across Cunningham Road and again along the western boundary of part Section 16 to the north-
