PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as road and vests in the Marlborough County Council the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1975

Notice of Variation of Election Dates for Election of Growers’ Representative to Tobacco Board

THE Minister of Trade and Industry, acting pursuant to the provisions of regulation 14 of the Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1975, and being satisfied in all respects of those matters of which he is required to be satisfied under the said regulation 14, hereby gives notice of the variation of the dates relating to the holding of an election to elect a representative of tobacco growers to the Tobacco Board, which election and its associated procedures, shall now proceed on the following dates.

Election Day

The election of a representative of tobacco growers to the Tobacco Board shall be held on the 23rd day of March 1979.

Nominations for Election

The last hour and day for receiving nominations in respect of the election shall be noon on the 2nd day of March 1979.

Voting Qualification

Every person shall be entitled to vote at the election who, on the 1st day of December 1978, is a person to whom a licence to grow tobacco has been granted under the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974.
