Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an area in the Hawke’s Bay Acclimatisation District (Woodville Survey District) to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the proclamation issued on the 21st day of March 1957* declaring an area of land in the Woodville Survey District, and in the Hawke’s Bay Acclimatisation District, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

SECTION 33, Block IX, Woodville Survey District: area, 135 acres, 2 roods.

ALL certificate of title, H.B., Volume 72, folio 80. Now on certificate of title, A3/342. As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 52/213 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 11th day of October 1978.

Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block X, Tauhara Survey District, Taupo County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 11th day of May 1961, to be road and to be vested in the Taupo County Council.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1755 square metres, situated in Block X, Tauhara Survey District, being Lot 15, Tauhara Middle 4A113B Block; as shown on plan M.L. 18846, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of September 1978.

Exempting Land in South Auckland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms of section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land, and secondly in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act 1971, every mineral existing in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land.

SCHEDULE

South Auckland Land District, Huntly Borough, 2709 square metres, more or less, being Lots 22, 23 and 24, of subdivision of Pt. 1, D.P. 28953, Rangiri S.D., Parish of Taupiri, as contained in C.T. IC/1377. Plan L.T. 522512.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 5th day of October 1978.
