powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a public work, namely river control, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and there numbered Survey Office Plan No. 27012, is exhibited at the offices of the board, M.E.D. Building, 40-44 Cuba Street, Wellington, and is there available for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands and who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them should state their objection in writing and send the same within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Planning Tribunal, care of Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington; and notice is hereby further given that if any objection is received as aforesaid and unless the objector otherwise requires a public hearing of any such objection will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL those parcels of land situated in the Hutt County comprising portions of the old bed of the Hutt River at Silverstream lying to the north of the point where the Western Hutt Road crosses the Hutt River at the southern end of Silverstream and described as follows:

(a) 1087 square metres (1 rood 03 perches), being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 27012.

(b) 1.9854 hectares (4 acres 3 roods 25 perches), being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 27012.

(c) 6753 square metres (1 acre 2 roods 27 perches), being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 27012.

(d) 2478 square metres (2 roods and 18 perches), being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 27012.

All being situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District.
