Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Relinquishments, Cancellations, Transfers, Resignations and Retirements of Officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces

Pursuant to section 59 of the Defence Act 1971, the Minister of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, promotions, extensions, relinquishments, cancellations, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

SEA CADET CORPS

Appointments

The following personnel have been appointed to cadet commission in the ranks shown and with seniority from the dates shown:

Adrianne Gwenneth Dawe, Ensign (W) on probation from 6 September 1978 and seniority from 28 May 1978.

David Nigel McCurdy, Ensign on probation, seniority 11 September 1978.

James Edward Dunn, Sub Lieutenant on probation, seniority 25 August 1978.

Extensions

The following personnel have been granted extensions to their cadet commissions until the dates shown:

Sub Lieutenant Robin Richardson, 1 April 1981.

Lieutenant Commander Bryan Matthew Sheeran, extension to commission and to appointment as Unit Commander TS Tutira, 1 April 1981.

Extension

Second Lieutenant Stuart William McDougall is granted an extension of 1 year on the Supernumerary List until 1 July 1979.

Resignations

Second Lieutenant Lee David Smith resigns his cadet commission, with effect from 26 July 1978.

Second Lieutenant Frank William Darby resigns has cadet commission, with effect from 31 December 1977.
