Declaring a Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VI, Howard Survey District, Waima County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Eric Stanley Cooper, of Gowan Bridge, farmer, and Glenis May Cooper, his wife, under and by virtue of Crown Renewable Lease No. RL 1280 recorded in register book, Volume 97, folio 225, Nelson Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road, from and after the 19th day of October 1978.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Waima Survey District, Borough of Richmond, for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for soil conservation and river control purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for a drainage channel as part of the Waima East Drainage Scheme, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Richmond and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
