NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD ACT 1972:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Water Board, a board duly constituted under the provisions of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972 and being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and under the provisions of all other Acts and by all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a public work, namely water works, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required, to be taken and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and there numbered Survey Office Plan No. 27712, is exhibited at the offices of the board, M.E.D. Building, 40-44 Cuba Street, Wellington, and it is there available for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them should state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days after the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington, care of Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, and notice is hereby further given that, if any objection is received as aforesaid and unless the objector otherwise requires, a public hearing of any such objection will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land containing 27 acres 1 rood 28.8 perches (11.1005 ha), more or less, situate in Block IV of the Akatarawa Survey District and being part Section 299, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 9D, folio 406 (Wellington Registry), and being all the land coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 27712, deposited at the offices of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, the said land being in the vicinity of the Plateau Road, Te Marua, and immediately adjoining certain land vested in the Wellington Regional Water Board by virtue of the Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Act 1927 (First Schedule, clauses 6 and 8) and by virtue of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972.

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of street, this work being part of the Whangarei Transportation Plan. Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and is there available for public inspection without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board. If any objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
