“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a reserve for local purpose (esplanade) within the meaning of the said Act.”

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WHANGAREI COUNTY
1.3531 hectares, more or less, being Rehuotane B1B2 Lot 12 Block and Rehuotane B1B2 Lot 13 Block, Block IV, Whangarei Survey District. All C.T. 42B/175 and 42B/176. M.L. Plan 14693.

The Motor Launch (Taieri and Waipori Rivers) Notice 1978
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962* I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Taieri and Waipori Rivers) Notice 1978.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette. -
Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Taieri and Waipori Rivers) Notice 1978† is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water in the Taieri and Waipori Rivers commencing at a point 200 metres upstream of the Taieri Mouth Bridge and extending to the Waipori River Bridge, excepting:
(a) The Taieri River northwards of its confluence with the Waipori River.
(b) Within 28 metres of each bank of the river between the Taieri Ferry Bridge and the Waipori River Bridge.
SECOND SCHEDULE
-
At the following places there shall be placed notice boards:
(a) At the launching ramp at Taieri Mouth.
(b) At the launching ramp near the Taieri Ferry Bridge. -
The aforesaid notice boards which shall measure not less than 800 mm by 600 mm shall be painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form
“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Between 200 metres upstream of Taieri Mouth Bridge and the Waipori River Bridge, motor launches and water skiers may travel at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour but must keep at least 28 metres from the shore between the Waipori River Bridge and the Taieri Ferry Bridge.”

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby approve the Marlborough Harbour Board Amendment to Bylaws No. 242 and 244 made and adopted by the Marlborough Harbour Board on 22 August 1978.

Declaration That State Forest Land Shall be a Reserve for Scenic Purposes
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby declares that the State forest land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be a reserve for scenic purposes subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Notice of Acquisition of Land
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, notice is hereby given that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of Le Roy’s Bush Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the North Shore Scenic Board.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares the said reserve to form part of the Lake Rotoehu Scenic Reserve.
