No. 77

Committee, on 18 August 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as the Birkenhead R.S.A. Incorporated.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening, but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to 11 o'clock in the evening the said premises shall only be open in respect of that bar known as the “Lounge Bar”.

(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day, but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening of New Year's Eve to 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day the said premises shall only be open in respect of that bar known as the “Lounge Bar”.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 18 August 1978, made an order revoking the order made by the Licensing Committee, at Auckland, on 24 February 1977 (whereby the usual hours for the sale of liquor from the hotel premises known as the Wade Hotel, Silverdale, were varied), and hereby further orders.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, New Year's Eve, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 10 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 18 August 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Licensed premises known as the Hotel Intercontinental, Auckland.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening, but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to 11 o'clock in the evening the said premises shall only be open in respect of that part of the premises known as the “Arms Bar”.

(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day, but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening of New Year's Eve to 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day the said premises shall be open in respect of that part of the premises known as the “Arms Bar”.
