No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 250 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Pukete Road to Vardon Road, and from a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Anglesca Street to a point 40 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Johnswiev Terrace.

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 60 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Lorne Street, and from a point 100 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Tomin Road to a point 20 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Resthill Crescent.

Greenwood Street: from Duke Street to Kahikatea Drive.

The Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 9th day of September 1958†, which relates to roads situated within Otatau District, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wallace County at Otatau:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern bank of the Otatau Stream 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said bank from Mary Street and proceeding easterly and southerly, generally, along the northern and eastern banks of the Otatau Stream to a point due east of the southern side of Nantwich Street; thence by a right line across the said stream and across the Wairio Branch Railway to a point on the north-eastern side of Riverton-Otatau Road 40 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along that roadside from Nantwich Street; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Hughes Lane to the southern side of Hughes Lane; thence westerly, generally, along that roadside to the western end of Hughes Lane; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Nantwich Street 560 metres measured westerly, generally, along that roadside from Devon Street; thence northerly, generally, across Nantwich Street, Knutsford Street, Clitheroe Street, Kendal Street, the Otatau Stream, Grey Street, George Street, and Swale Street to a point on the northern side of Swale Street 40 metres measured westerly, generally, along that roadside from Frederick Street; thence easterly, generally, along the said roadside across Elles Road and the Wairio Branch Railway to the south-western side of Otatau-Nightcaps Road; thence north-westerly, generally, along that roadside to a point 50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Swale Street; thence north-easterly, generally, across Otatau-Nightcaps Road from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the northern side of Lieman Street 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along that roadside from Mary Street; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line across Lieman Street and Russell Parade to the commencing point.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wallace County at Otatau:

Riverton-Otatau Road: from a point 40 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Nantwich Street to a point 400 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Riverton-Otatau Road from Hughes Lane.

The Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.*

  4. The Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 4, 1971, dated the 23rd day of November 1971†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Ellesmere County at Dunsandel, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Ellesmere County at Dunsandel:

Browns Road.

Highfield Road: from the Hororata-Dunsandel Road to a point 400 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Highfield Road from the Hororata-Dunsandel Road.

Hororata-Dunsandel Road: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Highfield Road.

Kanes Road.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ellesmere County at Dunsandel:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 240 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said highway from the Hororata-Dunsandel Road to a point 480 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from the Hororata-Dunsandel Road.

Dunsandel-Leeston Road: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Irvines Road.

Irvines Road: from the Dunsandel-Leeston Road to a point 200 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from the Dunsandel-Leeston Road.

Railway Road.
