PURSUANT to section 41 (1) and 44 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the appointment of the person for the time being holding the office of Commissioner of Crown Lands, Christchurch, and hereby appoints John Edward Friel of Christchurch, an officer of the Department of Lands and Survey, to be a member of the North Canterbury Catchment Board for a period of 3 years.
