Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of Social Welfare Services as Authorised by Section 305B of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building line conditions imposed by Orders in Council 279 and 723, for the purposes of social welfare services as authorised by section 305B of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and shall vest in the Wellington City Council, from and after the 27th day of July 1978.

Agreement for Grant of Pipeline Easement in favour of James Maurice Palmer, of Ravensbourne, company manager, over land situated in Block VII, Dunedin, and East Taieri Survey District, County of Silverpeaks, held for the Dunedin-Milton motorway

WHEREAS by Declaration dated the 16th day of March 1978, published in Gazette, 13 April 1978, No. 29, p. 1078, land was taken for the Dunedin-Milton motorway in Block VII, Dunedin, and East Taieri Survey District, County of Silverpeaks; and whereas James Maurice Palmer, of Ravensbourne, company manager, was entitled to compensation in respect of his interest in the land; and whereas the Minister of Works and Development agreed to grant to the said James Maurice Palmer, a pipeline easement over the land held for motorway in part satisfaction of the aforesaid compensation; and where-as the said James Maurice Palmer has agreed to accept such grant of a pipeline easement in part satisfaction of the said compensation; now therefore the Minister of Works and Development hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 97, of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
