Declaring Road in Block II, Tarawera Survey District, Rotorua
County, to be a Government Road and to be Stopped
and to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works and Development hereby
(a) declares the piece of road described in the Schedule
hereto to be a Government road; and
(b) stops the said road;
and further, pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act
1928, declares the stopped Government road to be Crown
land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as and from the 20th
day of July 1978.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of road containing 61 square metres, adjoining
or passing through Lot 42, D.P. S. 328 and Section 8, Block
II, Tarawera Survey District; as shown on plan S.O. 49123
lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and
thereon marked “A”.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, and hereby proclaims that the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed, and shall, when
so closed, be incorporated in Pastoral Lease No. P91, recorded
in register book, Volume 338 folio 110, Otago Land Registry,
held from Her Majesty the Queen by Charles Glynne Maxwell
Smith, of Gibbston, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 336705,
355217, 265203, 428228, and 487054, Otago Land Registry.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land
described in the First Schedule hereto to be set apart for road,
and the Land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be
set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, and
the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be set apart
for a quarry, from and after the 20th day of July
1978.
