Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested and Land Taken in Block III, Opotiki Survey District, Opotiki County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto which land shall vest in the Opotiki County Council; and hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed, and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and hereby declares that the road firstly described in the said Second Schedule, and the land described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so closed and taken vest in Douglas Charles Gordon, farmer, of Whakatane, subject to memoranda of mortgages No. 89482 and 90953, and that the road secondly, thirdly, fourthly, fifthly, and sixthly described in the said Second Schedule, and the land described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so closed and taken vest in Cecil John Gordon, farmer, of Opotiki, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 76010, Gisborne Land Registry.
